COMMERCIAL POLICY MANAGER (M/F)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will contribute to the success of the implementation of the Commercial Policy in Europe and potentially will help expanding the Commercial Policy outside of Europe.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Actively participate to the implementation of the Group Commercial Policy for what concerns the IT tool and the updated processes to be put in place together with other HQ departments.
• Ensure all relevant Commercial Policy concepts (such as suggested and estimated prices to consumers, trading terms and conditions, triple net prices, channel management, etc.) are well understood by HQ Teams and all European subsidiaries.
• Ensure all related Commercial Policy pieces of information are available in IT system and are kept regularly updated.
• Monitor the sell-out prices of our products in the markets.
• Monitor the subsidiaries sell-in prices, customers’ terms and conditions in force in the various countries, realized triple net prices etc. by producing monthly detailed pricing analytics.
• Communicate with local Commercial Directors, HQ Commercial Managers and IKAMs on local RRPs, max trade invest, realized triple net sell-in prices, outliers, etc. and ask for fixing when Commercial Policy rules are not being respected. Identify and propose solutions for price approval process / review red flagged deals.
• Communicate with Central Commercial and Marketing functions on suggested and estimated prices to consumers.
• Collect and share local best practices.
• Manage Commercial Policy main revisions together with HQ Senior Management.
• Monitor performance against set incentive systems. Escalate product breaches and any misrespect of commercial policy aspects.
• Help in expanding the Commercial Policy outside of Europe in case of need.
• Make some ad-hoc analyses on product ranges, turnover, margins and commercial conditions in place in the various countries as required.

JOB PROFILE

- At least 5 years working experience in a role linked to pricing or commercial policy concepts;
- Bachelor Degree in Economics or equivalent, Statistics or equivalent, Engineering;
- MBA will be well regarded;
- Good / Very Good English;
- Italian an advantage, but not strictly necessary;
- Credible counterpart to local Commercial Directors and Senior Leadership Team;
- Highly numerate, analytical and data driven in approach;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills;
- Good Business acumen;
- Inquisitive nature, innovative and proactive;
- Comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually;
- Sales Driven, results oriented and focused;
- Organized problem solver, does not give up when confronted with difficult challenges;
- Able to adjust to fast changing business environment;
- Self starter with the ability to organize and manage time and workload;
- Available to travel both in Europe and potentially in the Rest of the World.
