Context:The De'Longhi Design team is a dynamic 12 people team that works across different market and product categories. Our brands (De'Longhi, Braun, Kenwood, Ariete) give us a large variety of design challenges. We design for very diverse set of user needs ranging from comfort to kitchen to coffee, just to name a few. Interns will work closely with senior creatives and contribute to client projects on everything from branding and identity to assisting with project research and general production tasks. Interns will gain hands-on experience and exposure to the skills required to succeed in a professional design studio.
Job Description:De'Longhi is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to help the Design team develop a series of publications to collect, document and map the work done by the company in the recent years. The Internship (3-6 months) will be focused on the conceptualization, design and production of a series of books, manuals and guidelines.


Relevant experience:1-3 years graphic design experience across a variety of industries and challengesBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent degree
Passion for visual design: You know the difference between ‘good’ and ‘great’ and are able to work within dynamics that challenge teams, clients, and timelines to deliver excellent design. You are self-motivated and proactive, you can follow direction with minimal supervision. You have a keen interest in brand identity, logo design, and typography.
Systems thinking: You love complex questions and sing your visuals to communicate that complexity in simple ways. You are comfortable working with people who bring many different skills to the table, and can align your talents with theirs. And you are just as comfortable working across any format - you’re able to design/direct a book, video, or website, depending on what feels right for the question at hand.
Team skills: You work best in a participatory, team-based environment. You inspire teams through collaboration as well as direction, vision, and planning of all aspects of visual deliverables.
Communication skills: You have strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills. You understand the value of design and brand within a business context.You’ve mastered the tools: You can design and direct across a variety of media (print, motion, web) including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote. Additional skills in digital prototyping tools like Sketch and Flinto are a bonus.
